Silent Hill Ascension will be released this year

Last October, Konami announced Silent Hill Ascension, an interactive live-action game set in the Silent Hill universe. The company did not provide any details about the game except for collaborations with Genvid, Behavior Interactive, Bad Robot Games, and dj2 Entertainment. However, the Japanese publisher has now confirmed the game’s official release date.

Konami has revealed a new teaser trailer for Ascension, where the game follows the lives of a diverse group of people being tormented by new terrifying monsters and will allow the community of players to determine their fate with collective decisions affecting the outcome of the story.

The game has been confirmed for this year, but the platforms it will be available on have not been revealed yet. We expect to get more details and see more of the game during the upcoming events in the month of June.

The game allows crucial decisions to be made, and although the focus of fans of the series is currently focused on Silent Hill 2 and anticipation of its release date, Konami decided to review Ascension with a new trailer.
